Each cohort is expected to collaboratively research a topic, specific to Wilson, that could be better understood with the application of effective leadership and present their findings at the Wilson Forward Annual Meeting. Findings of the research compiled by the 2017 & 2019 cohort were compiled into the white papers that can be found below.
Cohort I (2017)
Unemployment in Wilson County
This white paper discusses surveys conducted with people seeking employment services in Wilson County to understand the challenges faced by those without jobs. The goal was to identify and help the at-risk working-age population in the area with tailored programs.
